Nurturing the Mind, Body and Soul

Entering the World of Music

My Mission

It is my goal to nurture the love of Fine Arts to all those I meet through music performance, musical education, novels, and storytelling. The Lord gave me a voice which I intend to use, evoking appreciation in the hearts of acquaintances, friends, family members, clients, and my students.

Music Theory

This goes along with instrumental study. In order for a musician to truly understand what they are learning, they must know their history and how music came to be. It is important to know the rules as well, the dos and don’ts of music composition.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Learning music is like learning a new language. It may seem overwhelming at first, but worth it in the long run. A good music teacher will remain by your side as you embark on your new journey.

FAQ:

What's the age limit to begin learning?

There is no age limit to how old you need to be when beginning your journey. With children, it is recommended they begin no younger than 5. Older than 5? Welcome aboard! All you need is yourself and your willingness to learn. I have taught students from ages 5 to 40 and up. There is no judgment here, only minds to be nurtured.

Can I learn more than one instrument at the same time?

Yes, you can. Learning one instrument is incredibly beneficial to the human mind. Taking on two instruments only strengthens a person's intelligence. However, it is recommended that you take at least one year of another instrument, like piano, before beginning voice lessons.
